Although he wore a white shirt and missionary name tag by day, 64-year-old senior missionary Loueni Huni from Tonga wore fins and a snorkel by night. Donning his swimming gear, which included an underwater flashlight and spear, Huni swam beyond the reef to gather fish for the poor.
This video celebrates the 20th anniversary of "The Family: A Proclamation to the World" and features an LDS family as they share their testimony of this wonderful counsel from our Heavenly Father.

The traditional family road trip is on the decline. During the 1960s and '70s, the Golden Age of the family road trip, parents loaded kids in the station wagon, rolled down the windows and set off across America. Elder D. Todd Christofferson never shirks from saying exactly what needs to be said. This perceptive and thoughtful Apostle of the Lord recently shared on Facebook a very interesting message about how we often describe God's love in a way that could lead to incorrect, possibly even dangerous, impressions:
This week’s lesson of Hebrews 7–13 contains many of what we’ll call “sermons in a sentence.” Lines that have been inspiration for conference talks and Sunday School lessons for generations. And we believe memorizing a few of these powerful one-liners could help carry us through hard times. So let’s dive into life-changing truths like “Christ is the high priest of good things to come” or “cast not away therefore your confidence” and see how they could make a difference in our day to day lives.

I’m not even talking about many of the larger problems or stresses that we all face in this probationary state we call life.
We need missionaries to match our message. We need missionaries who really know and love the Book of Mormon, who have a burning testimony of its divinity, and who by the Spirit can challenge their investigators to read and ponder its pages, knowing with complete assurance that the Lord will manifest the truth of the Book of Mormon to them by the power of the Holy Ghost.
