Who was the man in the photograph? It was perplexing. Glen Beckstead, a Salt Lake resident and Church member, recently acquired an old leather case measuring about 4 inches long and 3 inches wide. Inside was the photo of a distinguished gentleman wearing dress clothes from the 19th century. No one knew who the man was. Responding to a widely retweeted photo of Mitt Romney in which the neckline of the presidential candidate's undershirt can be clearly seen through the open-collar shirt he is wearing, Coppins says that while the subject has been "a point of political curiosity, debate and derision," the reality of the sacred undergarments "is far less exciting."
