Despite being confined to a wheelchair and only able to communicate through sign language, Emmalene has always wanted to be a ballerina. BYUtv's Random Acts helped make that dream come true when they surprised Emmalene's family with a day at the ballet and a backstage tour. But they had more in store for Emmalene than just watching the ballet. She was going to be the main event, getting to dance on stage in full costume with the other ballerinas. In the video, Emmalene's father captures her excitement, saying, "She just can't believe all this is for her."
