‘Just come and see’: The remarkable dream that led a Ghanaian chief to join the Church

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is pleased to announce that the official groundbreaking ceremony for the Bangkok Thailand Temple will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 26, 2019. The ceremony will be held at the temple site, which is located at 1645/6 New Phetchburi Road Makkasan, Ratchathewi, Bangkok 10400 Thailand.

Temples are beautiful any time of the year, but in this special season when they become decked with Christmas lights and holiday decorations, something simply magical happens. These holy houses surrounded by thousands of twinkling lights all point us toward the Light of the World and the true reason to celebrate this holiday season.

Big changes often require big faith. That’s definitely the case for the original 10 cast members of BYUtv’s Studio C who recently announced a very big change. After nine seasons of bringing hilarious, family-friendly sketch comedy to the homes of millions, they have chosen to leave the show and start a new endeavor together—JK! Studios.

Anger is a very powerful emotion and can be a very destructive one. If we let it, it can completely take control of our judgment, leading us down a path we should not follow. Is there such a thing as righteous anger or does anger altogether cause our downfall? Take a moment and think about times that you felt anger. Can you pinpoint what became of that moment? It is easy to feel defensive, insulted, betrayed, or disrespected, which in turn triggers our fight, flight, or freeze reactions and often leads to anger. Reacting in anger can cause us to make poor choices, yet we need to remember that we always have two options: Choosing the natural man, or choosing a God-like response. Here is the difference and a few things you can do to better manage angry responses:
