GENTRI, a trio of Latter-day Saint tenors, recently surprised 9-year-old London with a stunningly sweet private performance. London has been enduring painful treatments several times a week due to her illness, and GENTRI is her favorite music group, according to East Idaho News. Watch the touching performance below:

In New Testament times, family life centered on households rather than on what we would call the nuclear family—a father, mother, and their children. Wealthy households were much larger than the vast majority of households; however, all shared some common characteristics. They included not only kinship members of the extended family but also attached servants, slaves, laborers, and in the case of those with extreme wealth, numbers of individuals considered to be “retainers”—accountants, wet nurses, gardeners, tailors, barbers, cooks, bakers, guards, and even secretaries and teachers, musicians, etc. Everyone had a place—except the outcasts, whom Jesus loved and healed. They included vast numbers of people who belonged to no household. They were those who were diseased or considered grossly sinful.

After a highly successful 15-year career, MLB pitcher Jeremy Guthrie accomplished many historical firsts as a Latter-day Saint pitcher. Now as a mission president, Guthrie is serving with baseball players who are willing to put their careers on hold to serve the Lord, much like he did two decades ago.

“Just as the Church adapts food production and storage projects according to changing needs, families may want to make similar adjustments from time to time in their food storage plans to ensure availability for their own use and to share with others,” Sister Jean B. Bingham said.

I close my eyes and focus on soaking up the warmth of the sun. It is halftime, and I am exactly where I most love to be: on the sideline, cheering on my girls and their coach. This is my joy.

As Tony Finau prepared to tee off at the seventh hole during the 2018 Masters Tournament’s Par 3 contest, a man working at the tee made an observation to the 29-year-old golfer, “You know, it’s funny, we haven’t had a hole-in-one this year. Every year we have one. Every year somebody makes a hole in one.”

Latter-day Saints were blown away last general conference by the whirlwind of changes and announcements that took place. But that was just a small taste of what we've been experiencing these past six months. Here are the changes that have happened since last general conference that prove our Church is a living Church directed by the Lord's chosen messenger today.

April 2018 general conference was historic as Elder Ulisses S. Soares and Elder Gerrit W. Gong were called and sustained as the newest members of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. The two men bore powerful testimonies over the pulpit in the Sunday afternoon session and have since shared many valuable messages on their social media pages.
