While the truths revealed through temple worship are unchanging, the way our Heavenly Father reveals those truths and makes covenants with His children have changed from dispensation to dispensation. In the Bible, we see many similarities between the Tabernacle of Moses and modern-day temples, but there are also distinct differences between ancient and current temple worship.
