Latter-day Saint Cliff Devries is the head diving coach at Rochester Institute of Technology. For nearly a quarter of a century, Devries has been partially paralyzed. Twenty-four years ago, Devries underwent an intensive surgery to remove a 6-inch-long tumor at the base of his brain stem, a procedure that left the right side of his body paralyzed.
